Our first new discovery is from Sefton cyclist David Warrior, who points out that the
Woodland Path walk through Ainsdale Woods in Sefton can be extended and augmented to give a variety of circular and station-to-station cycle routes.
Not only can it be extended past West End Lodge to the Coastal Road, and thence to Ainsdale Station, but it is also possible to ride up NCN 62 to Birkdale or Southport stations.
